We opened in the Fall of 2018, and after undergoing some design changes, we became 512 Vape, a company focused on serving the local community with high-quality, verifiably safe products. All of our products have been tried and tested by the staff, and we only order from reliable distributors. We have created our own juice line and started a hemp company, called 512 Hemp, in order to ensure safe, natural ingredients for our customers.
In 2021, USPS issued new regulations on shipping vape products prohibiting direct business-to-consumer shipping and all other shipment agencies followed suit. In combination with vaping being added to the federal PACT Act, this ended the online retail vape market. So now, our products are only available in-store to adults over 21 years old.
The 2025 Texas Senate Bill 2024 went into effect September 1st, 2025. This bill "prohibits the sale, marketing, and advertising of all e-cigarette products that contain "other cannabinoids" like THC, as well as those that are disguised as other objects like school supplies or electronics, or that were manufactured in China. The law expands the definition of prohibited e-cigarette products to include any substance intended for use in an e-cigarette, regardless of whether it contains nicotine."
